I have a really hard time trying to explain this book to people, because not even I understood what it was about. The most accurate description I could think of was that it is a story of a man who has no real feelings or opinions about anything. He is very scarcely described. This doesn’t, however, mean I didn’t enjoy this book, because I did!
Mersault, the main character, seems to be just wafting away through life, and I could relate a bit, mostly because I’m a tad insensitve (not as much as him, though). It was just those kinds of books where you can fill the empty spaces inbetween the lines with your own opinions and thoughts, which was very wonderful.
